What To Know Before You Book

A quick overview to make the most of your stay.

- Myanmar is also known as “The Land of Pagodas” with thousands scattered throughout the country. But don’t be fooled, city life is just as rich and colourful in its vibrant urbanscapes.

- The country has a tropical monsoon climate with three seasons:
  • Hot Season | March to May: Temperatures and humidity soars during this time, but it’s still a fantastic time to visit historical and cultural sites, especially the temples of Bagan, the Shan State, or Inle Lake.
  • Rainy Season | June to October: Heavy monsoon rains can be intense and challenging for travel, but can be great for explorers looking to experience lush landscapes and vibrant greenery.
  • Cool Season | November to February: The most popular time to visit Myanmar, this season is ideal for any itinerary. While the cool season is the most popular for travellers, each season can offer unique experiences, so it’s best to plan around your interests and preferences.
- The country’s culture has a strong emphasis on respect and kindness, so you can expect a warm welcome from the locals. Try learning a few basic phrases for more positive interactions!
